All of our teachers are passionate about music and the development of children.
They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Anna Simons
Director of Enchanted Music Together, Teacher
I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University. I became a registered Music Together® teacher in the summer of 2006, after a career of over fifteen years in the public school in Philadelphia. I find that I am a good match with Music Togethers' philosophy and goals. Music is to be shared. Music is for everyone. My own background of music started in childhood, supported from both sides of my family. I have always felt privileged and humbled to teach the very young and to be a model for parents. Adults in particular have found me to be stimulating and insightful. The energy and love I bring to my lessons are contagious, my manner is warm and welcoming. Art and music are always present in my life and I feel strongly about sharing my love for music to small children and to the adults who love them.

Patricia Azar
Director of Magical Music Together, Teacher
Patricia became a registered Music Together teacher in 1999 in Santa Cruz, California and has lead many joyful circles of family music ever since. She adores igniting the spark of love for music in the children -with the grown ups’ crucial help- through varied experiences in class together. Patricia has a B.A. in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania and enjoys playing the harmonica, the piano and the autoharp. She comes from a family of singers, actors and musicians and has performed professionally mainly as a dancer, actress and voice over talent. She loves to play and make music with the babies, the little children, the older children AND the grown ups’ inner children! Her message: “Join the Music Together Community, your whole family will love it!” |

Colleen Coughlin
Teacher
Colleen holds a Masters in Music Education from Temple University and has taught Elementary and Middle school chorus and general music for the last two years. After completing her Music Together training in 2003 in Boston, she enjoyed leading many Music Together classes in Newton, MA and is very excited to be joining us here in Philadelphia! Her students really miss her and shared with us that Colleen's beautiful mezzo-soprano voice, energy and enthusiasm are irresistible! Currently, Colleen loves to sing, dance and play her flute in class and can't wait to make music and have lots of fun with our Magical Music Together and Enchanted Music Together families!
